'Lost Roses of Abney Park' at London Craft Week 2025

From 12–18 May, we’re excited to join London Craft Week with a special exhibition at our studio in Abney Park: The Lost Rosarium of Abney, a tribute to the park’s forgotten rose garden, once home to over 1,000 varieties. These blooms are reimagined as sculptural wax flowers, delicately perfumed with our botanical blends.

We’ll also be hosting three rose-themed workshops where you can explore our materials, try our techniques, and preview our Summer collection.

‘The Lost Rosarium of Abney’ brings this vision to life, with each sculpted bloom infused with fragrance, evoking the ephemeral beauty of Abney Park’s vanished roses. The exhibition is complemented by hands-on workshops, where you can craft a wax linen flower or experiment with wax-etched printing on paper and ceramic tiles, immersing yourself in the materials and techniques behind WAX Atelier’s practice.

By blending heritage, craft, and contemporary design, ‘The Lost Rosarium of Abney’ offers a poetic reflection on memory, loss, and renewal. WAX Atelier invites audiences to reconnect with Abney Park’s botanical history while celebrating the enduring artistry of wax as a medium of preservation and transformation.
