Our pomander decorations are meticulously crafted from Sicilian blood oranges, studded with whole cloves, and embalmed in a distinctive blend of iris root, Damascus roses, fruit waxes, aromatic resins, and essential oils of bergamot and bitter oranges.

Each pomander is carefully dried over several weeks before being finished with a silk tassel, allowing its warm, fragrant aroma to gently fill your space.

Handmade at our new workshop in Abney Park, each piece is well presented in a handcrafted orange-coloured box.

HISTORY OF POMANDERS

These beautiful, aromatic accessories originated in Medieval Europe, evolving into luxurious pieces crafted from precious metals and filled with exotic spices.

Popular among the nobility, they were prized for their rich perfume believed to purify, ward off evil, and add fragrance.

Today, they can be recreated with clove-studded oranges that, once dried, can be preserved for many years.
