About the Artist
Fujiko Rose is a British/Japanese artist known for exploring contrasting relationships, such as abstraction versus realism and nature against manmade forms. Recognised for her intricate ink work on Sky Art’s Landscape Artist of the Year, she has since collaborated on numerous projects and exhibited in various solo and group shows in London, New York and Los Angeles
”I like to say that my work is celebratory. An example of how I work is that I might visit a place and something about it will grip me. Then, when I eventually go about drawing it, I’ll consider the intention of the place as well as the experience of being there. From there, it’s a mix of serious overthinking and being playful; designing compositions, layering techniques, and having fun with different styles and themes."

Inspired by the rivers of Northern Vietnam and the waves of Japan, our seasonal collection INDIGO: Land, Water, Heaven celebrates the artistry of indigo dyeing and traditional wax craft. Drawing from these Eastern landscapes, each candle style evokes a sense of place and serenity, blending contemporary design with heritage techniques.
